Dear friends and fellow students:

Today i come to you with an honest heart, and sincere shame. I would like to apologize to you all for the very severe, harsh, and rude comments i made on my xanga site on tousday. I realize that the message i truly wanted to get accross came out distorted and tainted due to the many, many, many and many more issues, problems, and tragedies that are going on around me now. I apologize for attacking your own personal xanga sites, i know that by doing that i insulted your toughts, feelings, and also your intelligence; it was not my intention, and i hope that you are able to forgive me for that. I want to apologize for attacking and making anger filled opinions about your character and maturity, i know that it is not my place to do that, it is GOd's place. I apologize for not talking to each one of you individually and expressing my personal opinions about issues i feel strong about, i know that i acted in an immature way by writting in my xanga instead of personally talking to you all. I am sorry for hurting those close to me, and those who I don't know as well. although i feel strong about certain issues, i realize that it is not my place to convince or force my views on anyone, and i apologize for doing this through the means of the weblog. I hope you find it in your hearts to forgive me, and if you have any issues or are uneasy with anything i said, please come talk to me, i would love to engage in conversations about such things.

I once again apologize for the hurt, pain and inconvenience i caused.

When was the last time you dealt with someone that was raped, when was the last time you mourned a murdered friend, when was the last time you talk to a young person who has been sexually and physically abuse, when was the last time you asked someone how are they doing, and they didn't give you the pre-packaged answer of "ok" or "just fine", when, when?

i don't know about you, but this is a constant part of my life. I choose to deal with the issues and gain knowledge in order to better comprehend these things, instead of choosing to be ignorant. THe resources are in your hands, what are you doing with them?  if you don't really care about what i say, you obviously have not lived in an envirorment of total corrruption, lies, and where doing what's right will cause you disgrace, shame, mockery and perhaps death in society.

Today i write in a bit of discouragment and sadness. i have read a lot of the recent weblog entries, and some fellow students have commented to me about how they wish that i would just write more fun stuff, perhaps then people would read my entries. In response to these comments i have a few things to say:

1) first of all the purpose of my xanga site is to bring awareness and to be honest about issues and things that i see wrong with the world and in our community in order to make it better, not to just criticize it or bash it.

2) the comments i've seen written by my fellow students have for the most part been either really pathetic, stupid or just plain ridiculous; although I appreciate reading the entries of does who share their daily walk with God or their own personal dislike, likes or struggles.

3) i will never give in into the mindless, inmature crap that a lot of my fellow students write, because they have no real redeeming value or are just plain fucking stupid. (i do apologize for swearing). I would have thought that College aged people would have wanted to think more or bring up more interesting things to say, but i guess i was wrong, which is very dissapointing since we are all suppose to strive for knowledge and awareness in order to change the world with the Gospel. But i guess having stupid fun is more important that actually giving a dam about the real issues in the world, which you will have to deal with once you are out of here. Perhaps it would be wise to know and create awareness of these things while you are here so when you leave they will not seem completely strange and hard for you all.
